Boot Camp

(So this is what I feel like I did yesterday...A little exaggerated??? Maybe :)

Yesterday morning I woke up at 6:10 am to make it to a 7:00 am Boot Camp Aerobics class. This class started at the beginning of July and I had wanted to go so bad to help me get in shape. This however was the first week I was able to go. I stretched a little before the class and then it was time to start! As we began the first 5 minutes I began thinking, “Good Grief!! Is he serious?” I thought that my legs were going to fall off after the first five minutes!! The good thing is that it did not feel like a 45 minute class. All day yesterday my legs were shaking. I don’t think that I worked my legs out like that in awhile. I was so glad to get home and take the heels off. I began to move slower and slower as the day progressed. Of course Chad found it hysterical that I did a 45 minute class and it had that affect on me. I politely told him to shut up. I could tell my muscles were going to be sore today so I tried everything to prevent it. I took a hot bath, had some Advil, and yes with no shame broke out our brand new heating pad!! My Gluteus Maximus is beyond repair! (Thought everyone would enjoy the link. I know y'all know what it is). I’m sitting down slowly, rising slowly, walking slowly and as far as stairs are concerned you can forget it. My lower back is in pain, my quads are mad at me and making my life very difficult today, my shoulders, arms, and neck are in dire pain!! As you can see the workout covered my entire body. I know in the long run it is good for me but today I will continue to sit in pain while Chad laughs at me in the evening until it goes away. Despite all of the above I will be going back next Wednesday because I want to prove to myself I can do it!!

Any suggestions for sore muscles???

Our Fourth of July

To say the least was eventful!!

My father-in-law (Joey) had a great idea to spend an entire evening fishing out on Lake Sinclair on the pontoon boat. In theory: great idea! I was looking forward to it but I knew at some point I would get tired and want to sleep. We finally get to the lake Friday around 6:00 and get the boat in the water and we are on our way. So far; so good. We get about 4 miles away and decide on a spot to begin fishing. We pull over towards the grass near the bank of the lake. The water was probably about 4 ft deep where we were. The boys said it was a good spot so we went with it. We weren’t fishing with live bait yet at this point. We were fishing for bass. Tiffany and I were assured we would get to the marina around 10 for a bathroom break before it closed. We all start to get a little bored where we were so we decide to find a different spot. Wouldn’t you know the boat won’t crank!! At this point Joey is hanging off the back of the boat trying to get it to crank. He was dripping sweat. It wasn’t like we could get off the boat and go the restroom or anything. Anyone who has been to the lake knows that when you are near the grass and shallow water there are snakes and beavers and who knows what else!! We go ahead and fix dinner since we are parked. The boat had a grill so we made chili dogs that were pretty good if I do say so myself!!

The Trolley Motor saved the Day!!
The life saving trolley motor which we had at full speed of about 1/2 mph was going to get us back to the dock. We get turned around and get in with the current. At this point it’s 10:00 and we moving at 1/2 mph. We pulled the couches down to make beds and we begin to go to sleep. Clay and Barry stayed up fishing and driving the motor but decided at about 2:00 am that they were ready to get some sleep. Joey then swaps with them. Did I mention that it is freezing and all we brought were sheets because we thought it was going to be hot? Poor Joey…The only thing that kept him warm was the heat being put out by the motor in his lap. I swore we were just going to hear a loud splash and wake up to find Joey in the water!!

We arrived back at the dock at 4:30 in the morning at the point we layered up on our t-shirts and shorts trying to get warm. Anytime you moved from your “sleep spot” it got wet which made things that much better. We were up by 8:00 and heading to Aunt Sandra’s house for a fun day at the lake. First thing I did when I got to her house was take a nice warm SHOWER!

All in all it was a eventful and memorable 4’th of July for all of us. We got to see a lot of family and we had a lot of laughs and good times!

But I must give my condolences to something very special that didn’t make it through the weekend:

This is Barry's favorite fishing pole that is no longer with us. It cannot be replaced because it isn't made anymore. The pole made it all the way to the house but yellow dog got a hold of it. The reel survived but the the rest is gone. Barry is having a really hard time right now...Remember him in your thoughts :)

How was your Fourth?

His Mom must be so proud!

I have to say that I wasn’t surprised by what I saw Monday night. I’m just glad he finally showed everyone the jerk we all knew was there…

I find it hysterical after last week when his family was sitting there telling everyone what a wonderful man he was…GAG! He is the prime definition of JERK! Honestly, I didn’t find him attractive…Buddy needs a new shirt…and a good hair washing…

I almost feel like he was putting on a show…The whole limo scene…grrr! It’s not like he could get any of the girls in Spain anyway…And what ignorant girlfriend encourages their boyfriend to go on a National television show to pursue love…Other than the obvious so that he could get famous…Honey, He made you look like a fool!!

I will say though after Monday I found myself pulling for Reid. I like the way they act together. I’m not feeling it anymore with Kyptin. Nothing against him at all. My final thought is that it is going to come down to Reid and Ed. Reid’s going to have to tell her how he feels though…

Closing thoughts: KUDOS to Jillian for not using any of the overnight rooms!! Maybe the first one to not use them! What a wise decision…Maybe this will cancel out her hot tub scene from last season? Nah! That will go in the history books!
I’ll have an entry up soon on our interesting yet fun July fourth weekend…Get ready!!

And the Greaser stays another week…

It would be easy for me to be speechless after last night since the show was all over the place but that’s not the case with me! :)

Chad had to work last night so I watched while working on thank you cards and text messages to Michelle and Anna.

I really enjoyed watching her interact with Reid’s family last night as well as Kiptyn’s.

Now onto the good stuff…

Kudos to Jake for coming back and finally “trying” to let Jillian know what a slime ball Wes is. Apparently, Jillian learns by illustrations. Maybe Jake should have drawn her a picture because she appears to be a little slow. You could tell by the look on his dumbfounded face that he was caught. Then for Wes to attack Jake’s character really got me upset. I cannot wait till they have the show where everyone is there and they play Jillian all of the scenes where Wes is talking about his music career and how that’s what he’s there for. She was warned on numerous occasions so now it’s her fault if she gets hurt. Their band really isn’t very good….

I have to admit I was laughing hysterically when they were at dinner with Wes’ family and they brought up what happened. I have never heard a family feed an ego like they did. Basically, “Wes, Boys have always been jealous of you because you are so hot and you have so much going for you. You are amazing and did we mention that you are soooo hot!” Exaggerated slightly…but not really…haha! Now we see why he is full of himself. I wish that boy would get a new shirt. It looks like he’s wearing the same shirt on every date!!

Then there is good ol’ Ed who decided to come back….
I have to admit I liked Ed but he left the show. That was a ridiculous curveball last night and definitely not fair to the other guys. The look on Michael and Jesse’s faces when he walked in made me want to give them a hug.

Chad got home last night about 9:30 and he just cracks up at this show and finds it funny that I cannot stand Wes. He walks around the house chanting; WES! WES! WES! WES! This infuriates me even more…haha! When Wes’ name came out of her mouth during the rose ceremony I screamed! Yes, I admit it…I screamed!! Chad came running in the room in excitement dancing around saying; WES! WES! WES! WES! I threw something at him :)

How funny for next week though when Wes and Jillian are at dinner and he’s fumbling his words and talks about his girlfriend!! In yo face Jillian!! Jake tried to tell you about the greaser and you were dumb.

Stay tuned next week because “The Greaser” is going down!!

Kipyton will win Jillian's heart<3

Happy Birthday Brando!

One of my best friends, Brandy, has turned 26 today!! In addition to turning 26 this year she will marry her Prince Charming, Chris in September as well! She has so much to look forward to and this is such an exciting new chapter in her life. I first met Brandy back in 2004 through a mutual friend, Richard Hardin. We were inseparable after we met. We had our regular group that we would hang out with. The group we spent time with began to slowly fall apart. But not Brandy and I! We still continued to spend what seemed like everyday together during the summer. We slowly formed relationships with another group of friends. We are all very close still. All of this to say; that Brandy and I have always made our friendship last through everything. I think the closest I have ever felt to Brandy was when our friend Richard, who introduced us, died in a tragic car accident a few years ago. I was so glad we had each other as well as our friends to help us cope with the tragedy of losing someone we loved very much.
Brandy is an absolute sweetheart. We always have fun together and laugh together. I remember when an evil boy broke my heart years ago and I called her so upset. She drove from Barnesville to my house to spend the night so I could have a friend there with me. That’s the kind of friend she is. She will drop anything at a moments notice to be there for her friends. She has always been that way. We have had a lot of laughs and a lot of tears shed throughout our friendship. Our friendship continues to grow and I look forward to sharing a very special in her life with her.
I hope you have a wonderful Birthday Brando! Love you!

My JennySue

My JennySue turned 21 on Monday of this week. All I can come up with is WOW! Where does time go? I can literally remember when she was younger and she had the curliest hair. We would play school non-stop, we would play house, and we would stay outside for what seemed like 24 hours. Then as we got older it was more about talking about boys, clothes, and make-up. There were plenty of fights and arguments along the way but I have to admit there’s no one else in this entire world that I would rather argue with. The past few months have been weird for not being able to see my sister on a regular basis. I’ve been so used to seeing her everyday. After being at the house for 24 years it has been a hard adjustment for me. I’m close to my family and talking to them on the phone just isn’t the same. Don’t get me wrong I love coming home to my Chadsta every night but that doesn’t come without adjustments. I have watched my sister grow into an amazing woman. So weird to say that because we are not the two girls anymore we are women. Our relationship has had some rough patches but I think our relationship will only get better from here. She’s my best friend and sister. She is harshly honest with me and loving at the same time. She is outspoken and quiet at the same time. Watching her learn how to cook has been very entertaining for me. She is who I confide in when things seem really bad. She is my reality check when I am a drama queen. All of these things make my sister into the beautiful woman I adore. I would do anything for my sister and hurt anyone who hurts her. It’s a Big Sister’s Right too! She will always be my little sister who I look out for; nothing will ever change that. I will get to spend the majority of my weekend with her and for that I am so thankful because I have missed her more than she knows!! See you Friday sis!!

I purchased this EuroClean mop a couple of weeks ago and used it
for the first time last night...
My Grade-A
All I had to do was mist it with water and start mopping. It got in the cracks in the floor and got everything up. The cloth comes up on the side and definintly got in the hard to reach places.
Yes, I sound like an infomerical (haha) but this thing really was impressive!
You can wash the cloth in the washing machine and its good for 3 years/300 washes.
They have a window cloth as well and all you have to do it mist water on it too and it doesn't streak or anything. My understanding is that the microfibers pull dirt and whatnot off of the surfaces...
So far...I am very pleased.
I haven't used the dusting one yet but I plan to soon:)
Have a great day!!

Tanner Toes had me cracking up last night:)

There were many times in last night’s episode that I was laughing hysterically. I hope you were too!
First Scenario: David
Why do you think a woman would be flattered by you talking about her buttocks on National television and think it’s okay? What is wrong with you? To think after all that you would actually get a kiss? She straight up rejected him (giggle) and I guarantee to you she was back pedaling when your head went all exorcist style because you got rejected. I can only imagine what was going through her mind. He still didn’t understand why he went home…Maybe it was the crazy look on your face that was constantly there or the fact that you are flat out NUTS! His Ego was hit hard last night and I found that amusing ;)
Second Scenario: Tanner Toes
Did he not look like he was sweating bullets throughout that entire rose ceremony? I almost got the feeling that he lied to her and didn’t expect her to take it as far as she did. He looked so nervous and I was already laughing at that but then…..
When he snapped at Juan like he did I lost it!! I was laughing uncontrollably!!
It was so incredibly random…Juan glancing his direction and him snapping at him, “Juan, quit looking at me!” To which Juan responds, “I’m looking at everybody dude, Chill out.”
Not once but twice he snapped and I was cracking up both times.
I really thought Tanner Toes was going home last night but nope to my surprise she kept him and Good ole’ Wes. I don’t get it but I’m putting my bet on Wes going home next week.
I’m really thinking about having a Season Finale party but I don’t know who would come besides Anna;) Love you girl!
I’m just glad she finally got rid of David…Another one bites the Dust…
Was anyone else laughing last night???
