I have totally been slacking on my blog here lately. I'm not going to give excuses and explain why I haven't. I'll give you one word and leave it at that, LIFE.

So much has happened. So Chad and I made our biggest purchase since our house the weekend before Mother's Day and I must say I am LOVING it! A 2012 Ford Explorer in the best color their is (GO DAWGS!) There is so much more room then my Saturn and that was extremely apparent when we took our trip to the beach last week :) Bittersweet to say good bye to my sweet bright blue saturn but it was time. A Mom and Dad bought my Saturn for the daughter who was graduating and I really hope she is able to create as many if not more memories as I did with that car.

We took Landon for his first trip to the beach last week with our friends, Brandy and Chris. They have a little boy named Walker who is about 2 months older than Landon. Let me first say that wow - Vacations are not the same anymore! Ha! It was so much more work going down to the beach or even just the pool. I don't know what I was expecting but I'll just say there was no beach time with my book! We had a great time with the boys at the pool :) We took them to the zoo and that was a lot of fun. I think they really enjoyed that! Little man got his seventh double ear infection while we were down there so we came back a day early :(  I won't go into all the details of how we met with an ENT on Wednesday and are now having tubes put in his ears next Thursday :) I think this is going to make him the happy little boy he is trying to hard to be. His ears we're so bad the ENT couldn't do the test on them. We are hoping the inflammation and infection go away before next Thursday. So that is where we are. It has been a crazy month of May but we are finally heading in the right direction and for that I am grateful! I'll try not to have such a lull in between my next post.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Will be praying for Landon and his surgery... my nephew had it done and I was surprised at how well he handled it. I'm sure Landon will be the same. :)
