By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
I am now on the homestretch and in my third trimester!! This puts us closer to meeting our little man and this puts me over the moon! Today I have my glucose screening test and I will be getting the shot since Chad and I have opposite blood types. I have been given to wonderful baby showers and we are truly blessed to have the people in our lives that we do. Chad and I will never be able to express our gratitude enough to everyone!! Now that we have a wonderful stroller for Landon it is time to practice with that contraption because if not - we may have child services called on us...Practice makes perfect!!
That's all I have for now and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
I also welcome any advice for getting through the third trimester even though I feel fantastic now - I know some difficulties may lie ahead :)

My advice would be to rest every time you possibly can. Those opportunities get extremely rare once the baby arrives! And don't ever feel guilty for a second about how much you sleep or are lazy or enjoy down time to yourself or with your hubby. Just enjoy those things for the last few weeks they'll be easy. I also thought a lot during my last trimester about how it was my only chance to get the rest I wanted while being pregnant - next time there will be a toddler to chase around!
